Read-only tangent selection, set through the constructor.

False (default) retains the historical tangent. True differentiates the UL corotational residual for standard two-node beams, including length, frame and finite-rotation derivatives; the tangent may be nonsymmetric. geometric_stiffness=False retains the material-only tangent. Other beam interpolations use the historical tangent. Create a new weak form to change this option; a form may be shared by multiple assemblies. None enables automatic switching on stalled convergence; the runtime activation is stored separately for each assembly.
