Objective rate of the updated-Lagrangian method (nlgeom="UL").

corate can take the following str values:

  • “log_r” (default): exact logarithmic strain transported by the exact polar rotation increment (strain is recomputed at each iteration). This is the corate with an EXACT simcoon tangent transport, including across committed increments with plastic (or other rotated) history.

  • “log”: exact logarithmic strain, XBM logarithmic spin transport (small tangent residual with rotated history)

  • “jaumann”: Strain using the Jaumann derivative (strain is incremented)

  • “green_nagdhi” or “gn”: Strain using the Green_Nagdhi derivative (strain is incremented)

The total formulation (nlgeom="TL" with a law that supports it, see kinematic_form) is not a rate formulation: it takes no corate (setting one raises at initialization) and this property is then None. if nlgeom is False, this property has no effect.
