ShellHomogeneousNonLinear.get_stress(assembly, **kargs)

Recover local stress at normalized thickness position(s).

The default position is +1 (top face); position=None uses configured output points. This method does not reduce points. Dataset reads use shell_options and default to the sole saved point, or the top face when multiple points or only generalized fields exist. With a reduction, full tensors are reduced componentwise and components can come from different thickness points. Scalar invariants are evaluated before reduction; computing invariants from an envelope instead is not guaranteed conservative. These selection rules also apply to dataset Strain fields.
